Write a three to four (3-4) grammatically correct sentences about your future plans (career wise), where you are now, and what steps are you taken this year to ensure your future success.

You must have at least three (3) images that represent your goal and/or your career.

Use Development #6: Create a Smart Goal and Development #7: All Smart Goals Worksheets to list what you will need to attain your dream career. Each goal must be 5-6 sentences. Below are the goals that you should have created:

1. Graduating High School is the first start to a real accomplishment. Your task is to create a goal that revolves around this idea. Something to gain or take with you after graduating high school.
2. College (choose a college you will have to do some research) or trade school that your thinking about and what you want to do when you get there. (Major/minor studies, courses you would like to take, etc.)
3. Internships or job shadowing to buff up your resume that relates to your dream career. (research companies what skills are they looking for?)
4. Financing your dreams ( Are you saving for college, business? Looking for investors?)

Example Smart Goal:

I want to wake up earlier each morning to have more time for my morning routine. I’ll start setting my alarm clock for 7:30 AM this week, and each week set it earlier by 30 minutes. Plus, I’ll write on my calendar the time when I actually woke up to measure progress. My schedule allows me to go to bed at a decent time each night, so waking up earlier won’t take many hours of rest. My morning routines are filled with social media, and I feel rushed trying to get to work each day, so waking up early would help me feel calmer. In four weeks, I want to wake up two hours earlier than when I usually wake up now.

I hope in the near future I accomplish some of the goals I’ve written here, especially learning Adobe After Effects and becoming proficient enough to create a financial backing for school. In the meantime I will be taking other Adobe courses to help with my future career as a graphic designer…
