BLACK AND WHITE PHOTO ASSIGNMENT

Directions: This is your first Photo Digital Journal Entry. Take several photos that depict balance. You have a week to explore the city! Please make sure you take several images of different subjects and choose your best photo.

Balance: is arranging the elements in a piece so that there is equal use of space from one side to the other, this is called symmetry. An asymmetrical image usually is not the same one both side but has a perfect balance. Balance can also be achieved by radial arrangement.

For this photographic assignment please make sure you title your journal entry with ‘Week #1: Balance’. Your image should come next Then your reflection which needs to 5-6 sentences long, and grammar standards must be used. You should answer the questions of who, what, why, when, how, and where?
