Welcome to Ms. Balogun Website. Here you will find lessons, exemplars, and how to contact me if you need help. You will also find your final performance task for each of your classes page. Foundations in Design, Digital Art, Digital Literacy, and  Career and Financial Management classes are all about thinking outside the box. I am looking for students who can use their creative minds to come up with fantastic design solutions from the criteria given to them when completing a performance task.

The basis of any design work relies on how a designer can best arrange the various elements of a page layout in connection to the overall design and to each other. This relates to any class you take whether it be general academics (Math, Science, History, or Language) to your CTE courses your take throughout your high school years. Presentation is everything. All of my classes will ask you to document your process from beginning to end. You will have created small portfolio website, which will include posts and pages by the time you’ve completed a year in class. It is important to creating effective and pleasing arrangements of text and graphics that shows your skills acquired and lessons learned.

Every year students creates a miasma of techniques to make them shine. It ranges from posters in 2D design to compositions that are virtual and 3D, to PSA videos and interviews to typeface fonts by hand and color collages. They also apply what they learned in class in real life situations. Hopefully you enjoy your year with me and become a true long life learner.
