Digital Photography Journal

This is essential to learning about design, the design thinking process, and what makes up a work of art. This is a weekly assignment that concentrates on different aspects of the principles and the elements of design. Students take images in black and white and in color of objects, subjects, or individuals to depict one of the design theory. They also write a reflection on who, why, when, where, what, and how explaining their thought process. There is no need for a regular camera all they will need is their cellphone.

The digital journal photography assignment are given on Monday of each week and are due the following Monday at 8 a.m. Some the the topics they cover are emphasis, texture, color, shape, form, space, balance, and many others. The objective is for students to put into practice what they learn in the classroom.
